My journey with hypnosis began at the age of 13 after a tragedy happened in our family. I was introduced to a compassionate psychologist & hypnotist named Ruth S Harris. After the usual evaluations, Ruth told me, “I am not going to do anything to you. I am going to teach you how to heal yourself with hypnosis.”
Through several sessions she helped me learn to cope with: loss, grief, self esteem, public speaking, and confidence; just to name a few. In the process she taught me hypnosis from the ground up, stating, "You will need to know how to do this someday."
I have studied various religions, and several complimentary healing modalities: Kinesiology, Energy Balancing, Essential Oils, Herbalism, and other mind body techniques.
I am an Entrepreneur and a high school dropout and proud of it!
I spent 4.5 years in Florida residing on at non denominational Christian community with people from all over the world, learning how spiritual be(lie)fs affect people and how our own personal be(lie)fs keep us in bondage to an invisible master that we have created in our minds.
During my time in Florida I had a (NDE) near death experience which drove my studies even deeper.
I used the hypnosis lessons from Ruth to recover for the NDE and regain the use of my body.
From this came my fascination with the mind-body connection and how much control, WE as individuals really have over our thoughts, emotions, aches and pains. Hypnosis saved my life!
The modalities of Hypnosis have helped me overcome: grief, sexual assault, and more - traditional therapy was little to no help in dealing with the aftermath of these things.
After the death of my first husband, I once again turned to hypnosis for help, along with traditional CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy counseling).
The late hypnotist, Craig R Lang, looked at me one day and said, “We should trade places. You remember way too much of what Ruth taught you. You should be working on me. Go get trained and certified as a Hypnotist.”
One month later I was enrolled in the Midwest Hypnotherapy Academy.
Today, I am happily married to a wonderful man, Ron, who is a Veteran. We enjoy playing Disk Golf, gardening, cooking, volunteering, and spending time together indoors and outdoors. We both know the journey of being widowed and live each day fully.
I am able to say from personal experience that, Hypnosis works!
Outside of my hypnosis practice, I am a member of the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and a Chamber Diplomat.
Owner and teacher of a private Hypnosis career school.
A member and auxiliary instructor of the Willmar CERT (community emergency response team) volunteer group.
When I am not seeing clients or teaching students, my husband and I volunteer at two local food shelf's and play disk golf. We do crossword puzzles, Sudoku, and word search, and I continue to study Hypnosis.
The issues I like to work with are: grief, stress, anxiety, unexplained medical problems, personal mystery’s, and life adjustment. Or anything a client comes in the door with!
I studied Hypnosis at The Midwest Hypnotherapy Academy, in Apple Valley, MN, 2016-2017 and become a Certified Hypnotherapist (CHt) through the IMDHA – International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association and IACT – International Association of Counselors and Therapists.
Presenter at several conferences: 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025: IACT, IMDHA.
Presented at the 2020 Iowa S.P.A.M. conference and HEA.
February 2020 published my first book, Turtle Tracks and Rabbit Trails.
December 2020 published a second book, Avra k’davra, I will create as I speak.
September 2021 published a third book, Hypno-Pharmacia.

- May 2023 signed contract with Roy Hunter to be his protégé and help carry his contributions to hypnosis forward.
